I was able to get the camera thanks to my wonderful wife who said I could have any Amazon gift cards she got for christmas if she could have any of my Target gift cards.

Here are the first few shots from it:

decent stuff for a kit lens
So that's it so far. The Canon T3i with the 18-55mm kit lens.
I'll get some video and post it up soon hopefully.

    Oh yay!! I'm excited to see all the cool pics you'll take with your new toy! My nikon came with 2 kit lenses (one of which I never use and am hoping to sell so I can add a 50mm or 95 mm prime to my lonely 35!)
